The City Walk shopping center in Sandy Springs is about to get a lot more delicious. This summer, two Italian restaurants will be opening their doors in the area. Tre Vele, a restaurant and market by Mission and Market chef Ian Winslade and brothers Ryan and Jonathan Akly, will occupy the former Three Sheets store. The 3,500 square foot space will include a 1,500 square foot rooftop patio, an Italian market, a cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating, coffee drinks and fresh baked goods from pastry chef Jae Eun Park, a homemade pasta station, as well as sauces and pizza.
On Monday, September 20th, Tre Vele will open its doors. After 21 years in Midtown, Baraonda will also be moving to the Adley City Springs apartment complex. Led in the kitchen by chef Giancarlo Ruiz (formerly Storico Fresco), the Tre Vele menu offers a mix of classic Italian dishes and handmade pasta. Some of the dishes include cacio e pepe, strozzapreti with vegan kale pesto and cappuccino stuffed with ricotta and spinach.
Main dishes such as Milanese veal and braised oxtail in tomato sauce and red wine are also available. The restaurant also includes a rooftop bar and lounge. Sandy Springs is about to become a foodie paradise with the arrival of these two Italian restaurants. Whether you're looking for classic Italian dishes or something more modern, there's something for everyone at Tre Vele and Baraonda. So mark your calendars for September 20th and get ready for some delicious Italian cuisine!.
